Brissett Defends Harrison Amid Criticism

Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett defended wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. amid growing criticism about his slow start to the 2026 season.

Despite a viral video viewed more than 18 million times questioning his effort level, Brissett stated that Harrison's work ethic and engagement remain unchanged. 'Nobody's lost confidence in Marv. The hard part as a young player is the noise from the outside telling you what they expect from you,' Brissett said.

Harrison has struggled statistically through Week 2, with only four targets, one catch for 33 yards, and questions about his route running. Coach Mike LaFleur also defended Harrison, saying his running style differs from what some fans might expect. Harrison was the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. sweetbonan.org
