Chiefs' Dave Toub explains Cyrus Allen injury on special teams

Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub explained why rookie WR Cyrus Allen was playing on the punt team before suffering a Saturday injury.

"I hate to see somebody get hurt, especially on special teams," Toub said. "He’s doing well on offense and for me, too. He was a gunner and a returner. Everyone is on special teams until they aren’t. Everyone starts as a four-phase guy, especially rookies." Toub added that first-round CB Mansoor Delane would also be practicing on special teams due to a shoulder injury, noting that even tight end Travis Kelce once played special teams. milkshake.it.com
