Panthers RB Brooks Week-to-Week with Groin Injury

Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks is week-to-week with a groin injury after suffering it again in Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Brooks, who was the first running back selected in the 2024 NFL draft, tweaked the same groin injury he had in training camp. The Panthers initially said he would have no limitations before Week 1, but now he's seeking more medical opinions.

Injuries have severely limited Brooks throughout his NFL career. He was drafted while recovering from a torn ACL, then tore the same ACL again as a rookie in 2025. Brooks has never gained a single rushing first down in his career, totaling just 52 yards on 18 carries. extract-html.com
