Vrabel deflects questions about Maye's struggles

Mike Vrabel cut off questions about Drake Maye's struggles after the Patriots' win, telling reporters they wouldn't ruin his Sunday. The second-year quarterback, who finished second in MVP voting in 2025, now ranks second from the bottom in passer rating among quarterbacks who have played two games. milkshakeslot.com

Maye has struggled with poor decision-making, including three interceptions in Week 1 and a head-scratching pick in Week 2 after a long completion. While Vrabel's reaction suggests concern about Maye's development, the Patriots desperately needed the win with upcoming road trips to Jacksonville and Buffalo.
