Free agent tight end Zach Ertz has been cleared for all football activities by doctors, clearing the path for a potential return to the NFL.

Doctors have cleared Ertz for all football activities, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The 35-year-old tight end tore his ACL in December while playing for the Commanders but hopes to continue his career.

Ertz is currently working out at Stanford with former quarterback Andrew Luck. In his 13th season, he recorded 50 receptions for 504 yards and four touchdowns for Washington. capturengo.com
