Angels Trade Soriano To Blue Jays

The Angels are sending José Soriano to Toronto in exchange for shortstop prospect Arjun Nimmela, minor-league outfielder Eddie Micheletti and teenage right-hander Angel Rivero. Soriano, who is under team control through 2028 with a $2.9 million salary this summer, is having a career-best campaign with a 3.29 ERA, though he leads the AL in walks allowed.
