Clemson Loses First Player to Transfer Portal

Junior forward Jake Wahlin has entered the NCAA transfer portal, becoming Clemson's first player to leave after a 24‑11 season that ended with a first‑round loss to Iowa.

Jake Wahlin, a 6‑foot‑10 forward who joined Clemson after two seasons with Utah, posted on X that he is entering the transfer portal. He averaged 5.3 points and 4 rebounds in 35 games, shooting 40% from the floor and 34% from beyond the arc. Clemson finished 24‑11 overall, 12‑6 in the ACC, and fell to Iowa 67‑61 in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The transfer portal opens April 7.
