Giants Suspend Bader's Pay Amid Scooter Accident

The San Francisco Giants have suspended payments to outfielder Harrison Bader following a scooter accident that aggravated his season-ending foot injury.

According to Giants President of Baseball Operations Buster Posey, the accident delayed Bader's treatment timeline for plantar fasciitis in his left foot. 'We are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, but will be suspending payment to Harrison until he is able to resume performing services for the club,' Posey stated in a release. betsport24.es

Bader, who signed a two-year, $20.5 million contract with the Giants in January, has been sidelined since May 29. The injury was further aggravated during the scooter incident. However, Giants manager Tony Vitello clarified that Bader's season was already over due to his pre-existing foot condition.
