Madden NFL 27 Top Rookie Ratings Revealed

The top 10 rookie ratings in Madden NFL 27 were revealed by EA Sports on Tuesday. While Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, fell just outside the top 10 with a 74 overall rating, several rookies impressed with their initial game ratings.

Defensive lineman Rueben Bain Jr. leads the ratings with an 80 overall. Other top-rated rookies include offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa and edge rusher Malachi Lawrence (both 78), as well as Spencer Fano, Akheem Mesidor, Mansoor Delane, and Arvell Reese (all 79).
