Mancini returns as Italy coach, Ranieri technical director

Roberto Mancini has been reappointed as Italy head coach, replacing Gennaro Gattuso, while Claudio Ranieri takes on the role of technical director.

Mancini returns to the national team helm, a role he previously held from 2018 to 2023, which included securing the 2021 UEFA European Championship title. He replaces Gattuso, who left the position following Italy's failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
