Ole Miss (26-11, 8-7) completed a weekend sweep of LSU (22-15, 6-9) with an 8-7 victory on Sunday. The Tigers scored all seven of their runs in the seventh inning, including three consecutive solo home runs from Derek Curiel, Cade Arrambide, and Jake Brown, to tie the game.
However, Ole regained the lead immediately when Hayden Federico scored on a single in the bottom of the seventh. LSU went down in order in the eighth and ninth innings as Walker Hooks struck out the side to end the game. LSU now sits in 14th place in SEC play, ahead of only South Carolina and Missouri. xsportfeed.life
