Oregon QB Moore Carted Off After Head Injury

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was carted off the field after sustaining a head injury during Saturday's game against USC.

With 10:05 remaining in the second quarter, Moore was hit in the head by USC linebacker Desman Stephens III as he began to slide while running. The ejection was confirmed as targeting. Moore remained down on the field as medical staff attended to him before placing him on a stretcher with a neck brace. He was taken by cart toward an ambulance, with NBC reporting he was moving both his arms and feet.

Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola entered the game and connected with Evan Stewart for a three-yard touchdown on his first throw, with both players holding up five fingers in support of Moore. afrikasportnews.co.za
