Mexican senators plan to propose legislation restoring promotion and relegation in soccer.

The system was halted in 2020 due to the pandemic. Senator Clemente Castañeda of Movimiento Ciudadano will propose the reform on Tuesday, backed by Morena's Ignacio Mier. xsportfeed.quest
