South Bay Lakers Edge Clippers, Advance to Next Playoff Round

The South Bay Lakers secured a 122-119 victory over the San Diego Clippers in the first round of the G League playoffs, earning the Western Conference’s top seed and their first postseason appearance in three years. Chris Mañon delivered a clutch performance, scoring five points in the final 1:21 and stealing the ball with 10.4 seconds left to lock in the win.

Mañon finished with seven points and four rebounds, while Malik Williams and Drew Timme each scored 21. Kobe Bufkin added 20 points and five assists, and Nick Smith Jr. contributed 18 points off the bench. The Lakers will host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday at 7:00 p.m. on Prime Video.
