Spain Condemns Anti-Muslim Chants vs Egypt

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and coach Luis de la Fuente expressed strong disapproval after Egypt's national anthem was jeered during Tuesday's friendly match. The RCDE Stadium's public address system repeatedly appealed to fans to refrain from offensive comments, which RFEF president Rafael Louzan described as 'specific and isolated situations.'

De la Fuente was more forceful in his condemnation, calling the behavior 'intolerable' and stating that 'violent people use football to carve out a space for themselves.' He added that such individuals 'must be removed from society, identified, and kept as far away as possible.'
