Steelers Shock with Trade for Tyson and Simpson in 2026 Mock Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers traded two picks to move up to No. 32 in a CBS Sports mock draft, selecting Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson and Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.

The mock draft, created by CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson, shows the Steelers using picks 53 and 76 to climb to the 32nd overall spot. They then select Ty Simpson, a polarizing Alabama signal‑caller with high upside but limited starting experience.

At No. 21, the Steelers pick Jordyn Tyson, a former Arizona State standout who caught 136 passes for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in 21 games. Injury concerns may have pushed him down from a top‑10 projection, but the Steelers see potential in the receiver.
