Texas A&M WR Ashton Bethel-Roman Leaves Practice

Texas A&M junior wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman exited spring practice early Thursday after taking a hard hit during a deep route drill. No official injury update has been released.

Bethel-Roman, a key receiver last season, collided with a defender during 1-on-1s and did not return to the field. The Aggies have yet to provide a timeline for his return.

With KC Concepcion heading to the NFL, Bethel-Roman was projected to be the team's primary deep threat. He finished last season with 24 receptions for 503 yards and five touchdowns.
