The Athletic Opens Voting for 2025-26 Young Player Awards

The Athletic has opened voting for its men's and women's young player of the season awards, part of the publication's annual end-of-season awards show.

Readers can participate in determining the winners by casting their votes online or through Google Forms. The shortlists were compiled by The Athletic's team of Premier League and Women's Super League experts, with eligible players required to be aged 21 or under on July 1, 2025.

The awards show will be broadcast across social media later this month and available as a podcast. Voting closes Tuesday, May 5, with readers able to vote in one or both categories. truewildgame.com
