Indiana men’s basketball debuts in Jon Rothstein’s offseason top-45 on Thursday

Indiana men’s basketball made its debut in CBS college basketball insider Jon Rothstein’s top-45 programs of the offseason on Thursday. Rothstein ranks men’s college basketball’s teams who have a minimum of eight players committed and updates the ranking each day.

The Hoosiers debut at No. 15 in Rothstein’s ranking, which lists projected starters and a bench. Rothstein sees Indiana starting Markus Burton, Bryce Lindsay, Darren Harris, Aiden Sherrell and Samet Yigitoglu with Jaeden Mustaf, Trent Sisley, Vaughn Karvala, Trevor Manhertz and Prince-Alexander Moody coming off the bench.

Rothstein has three other Big Ten programs ahead of the Hoosiers with reigning national champion Michigan at No. 1, Final Four team Illinois at No. 3 and Michigan State at No. 5. Other Big Ten programs include USC just behind Indiana at No. 16, Purdue at No. 20, Ohio State at No. 21, UCLA at No. 22, Nebraska at No. 24, Wisconsin at No. 29, Iowa at No. 34. Regional foes Louisville and Kentucky rank in at No. 18 and No. 39, respectively.
